Eli thinks he knows more about things than he really does (which we have heard only gets worse)...so, we are trying to patiently teach him right and wrong things to get into. It's been incredible to watch him discover things...and realize the innocence of a child. It is a blessing to watch his development and be able to be his parents. He is a gift.
Chris is in real estate school, and is in class three long days a week...and in the truck a lot more with that commute...so, he is a bit tired. He looks forward to seeing how this can apply later down the road! Spring is about here, so the business will soon be in "full bloom". He is reading a ton right now...between classes, small group, and a Men's Bible Study he is a part of....I don't see how he does it...he is definitly a night person!
I am just trying to figure out balance...and how I can "be Jesus" as a wife and mom! Where would Jesus be today? Anyhow, I'm in the middle of a book called "Searching for God knows What" by Donald Miller and it has renewed a passion of scripture for me....to boil it down....I can't go to scripture looking for what I can get out of it for me...I have to approach it as getting to know the very heart of God....and let Him change me through it. Anyhow, I've grown a lot over the past few months just being challenged to think deeper. It has been a sweet time. More to come on this!
